You know when you go shopping around the holidays and suddenly certain expletives escape during what is supposed to be an enjoyable time? Many times that’s the same frustration you experience when shopping online, except instead of getting glared at by some lady in an embellished sweater it’s the screen of your laptop.

These days there are a lot of factors that go into purchasing a domain name. Some of the big factors are price, availability, branding, and local or non local.
In our society we have our choice of things that could make us delusional. (At the moment for me, it’s the sound of planes flying over our building and the fact that the A/C isn’t working and it’s 99 degrees in my office. Awesome.) But I am really referring to websites. Why? Because every business is selling something. I would like to share some common misconceptions regarding websites.
Well, why not, everybody’s doing it. And truth be told, it works out a lot better than some of the faces I’ve seen. If you take a second look at some of the most popular logos over the years, you notice most of them have been slightly changed (nip/tuck if you will), or changed all together. For example, many companies are changing their logos from all caps to all lower case letters.
For those of you who are Seinfeld fans, there you go. For everyone else, I do mean this literally. We are operating in a time where efficiency and simplicity are more important than ever before. A successful web presence is an integral, if not imperative, part of any business. Companies have to come up with creative and economic ways to keep costs low, but grow simultaneously.
